ARTISAN BIO - Noelle Leonard, Cabin Fever Primitives & Candle Co.

Noelle Leonard, owner of Cabin Fever Primitives is a native Texan who now resides in rural Northern Virginia only an hour west of our nation's capital. Her rustic creations are brought to life in a workshop located in her log home nestled on 20 acres in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains (part of the Appalachian Mountain Range.)  With the Appalachian Trail in her backyard and the Shenandoah River close by she lives in an area known for being "the Canoe Capital of Virginia" & "the Gateway to Skyline Drive" (part of the Blue Ridge Parkway.) Being surrounded by nature plays a big influence on her creations.  Much of her inspiration also comes from primitive designs as well as a mix for her love of rustic, western, lodge & cabin decor.

Cabin Fever Primitives was founded in 2000 after her youngest child started school and has been growing ever since.  In spite of that growth, Noelle continues to personally handcraft each and every candle.  Her eye for art and design and her creativity have helped her become a self-taught candle artisan (& web-designer.)  The uncolored high grade paraffin/natural wax blends she uses allow her to use her imagination to add dyes & mix scents to come up with her own unique blends.  Her candles, potpourri, and other creations can be found at many fine gift shops & home decor stores located throughout the US & internationally.
